Our client:

Our client, a software editor, mandated us to recruit a Senior Java Developer to join their team.

Candidate will design and implement server-side applications.

Description:

The work will be carried out in the company’s premises in Luxembourg or from their client’s premises. Business trips may be required up to 25%.

The candidate will:

• Participate at the full cycle development of the project (analysis, solution design, development, testing, implementation, post-production support and evolution);
• Understand the requirements and develop a solution;
• Provide the technical feasibility of UI/UX/applications designs;
• Develop and maintain new features using Java/J2EE/JavaScript
• Test and optimize applications;
• Create written documentation.

Profile:

• At least 5 years of experience as developer;
• Strong experience in several of the following areas: Java J2EE, Spring, REST services, SQL, ORM, JPA, database design, application servers or Node.js, Javascript, jQuery, current Javascript Frameworks, HTML5, CSS, Oracle JET;
• Understanding of J2EE architecture;
• Good understanding of agile practices, Jira and Rest;
• Fluent in English. Portuguese or French would be an asset;
• Strong problem solving.
